PC Strands
For the production of 2, 3 and 7 wire strands for prestressed concrete, we use high resistance wires made from cold drawing of high carbon wire rod (average 0,82%).
2 or 3 wire strands are made of wires rolled in a helicoidal way around their longitudinal axis with a rolling up equal to 14/22 times the nominal diameter of 2, 3 wire strand.
7 wire strands are made of 6 wires rolled in a helicoidal way around a central wire having a slightly wider diameter.
They have a rolling up equal to 14/18 times the nominal diameter of 7 wire strand.
